Early Morning Shooting Results In Murder.

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO shooting incidents have occurred in just about 12 hours, the more recent of which took place this morning in the Basseterre area reportedly leaving one with multiple gunshot wounds.


    Information received by this publication suggests that this morning (Jun. 30) a young man, Khoy “Redrat” Jeffers was shot by a lone gunman in the vicinity of College Street Ghaut.

    SKNPULSE understands that the Emergency Medical Services were summoned to the scene and, after a quick response, the wounded party was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he was treated but later succumbed to his injuries.

     This takes the murder count in the Federation to 16.

    In other news, another shooting incident occurred in the Challengers area shortly before or about 7:00 p.m. According to Superintendent Lionel Moore, Commander for that district, the man, identified only as a Kelly, was reportedly in the mountain area attending to his sheep when he was shot.

    He said the man ran back to the village and from there was transported to the JNF General Hospital where he is being treated.

    Investigations are currently ongoing.
