St. Kitts and Nevis (SKNP): The St. Kitts and Nevis men’s national football team faced a must win situation yesterday in St. Vincent at the Arnos Vale Stadium. True to form and highly favored to win, the ‘Sugar Boyz’ kept their poise and executed their game plan effectively.

A goal from Javiem Blanchette in the second half made the task so much easier for the St. Kitts-Nevis team as they defended well and held on to win 1 goal to nil.

The Sugar Boyz are currently ranked 92nd in the FIFA world ranking; two consecutive wins bodes well for the team as they have topped their group.
Team St. Kitts and Nevis can now continue to focus on their quest to win the 2016 edition of the CFU Caribbean Cup.

The Sugar Boyz previously defeated Suriname 1 goal to nil in St. Kitts, in their first match of the second round of matches of the CFU Caribbean Cup qualifiers.

St. Kitts and Nevis’ round three matches are scheduled for October 6th and 9th. The four group winners from this round will be qualified for the 2017 Caribbean Cup.
