Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 20, 2015 (RSCNPF): The Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) of Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is seeking the assistance of the community as it investigates a shooting incident which occurred in Stapleton Village, St. Peters around 6.45 pm on Thursday (November 19).
According to the unit, a 23 year old male, from Upper Cayon was injured in his left ankle. The male reported that while visiting a residence in Stapleton Village, some unknown person or persons fired two gun shots through a partially opened glass window.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the injured male to the J. N. France General Hospital for treatment. Other persons present at the residence were unhurt.
The scene was processed by members of the Forensic Services Unit, and the investigation is ongoing.

We will only solve these incidents with your support, let us work hand in hand,” stressed ACP Queeley.
