SKN PULSE, Saturday 18th July, 2015 – The Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots took the field one last time before the end of the Preliminary Round in the Hero CPLT20 2015 Edition. With plenty at stake, the Patriots didn’t have enough flare to take them into the final round.

Nevertheless, the team played with a sense of purpose but were outdone by an impressive bowling attack by the RedSteels. After the game had been reduced to fourteen (14) overs teams knew that who ever batted first needed to post a competitive target. Hence, when Trinidad batted Darren Bravo played some impressive shots that gave Trinidad momentum in the latter overs. Trinidad’s final score was 134-5.

The Patriots turn at the crease seemed to be going smooth in the early part of their innings when Lewis was firing on all cylinders even after losing Guptil early, as he struck six after six. However, this was short lived after wickets started tumbling and the task became harder as dot balls continued to pile up. The Patriots score was 123/7.

This medium expresses best wishes to the Patriots going forward even though they were unsuccessful in their bid to advance to the Final Four, (finished at the bottom of the table).
