SKN PULSE, Sunday 24th May 2015 – With an evolved sports world young women are afforded the opportunity to have an array of choices which equates to them feeling alot more happier that they too can trace a dream of being a cricketer, a footballer, a basketball player and the list goes on.
With that said, yesterday, Saturday 23rd May 2015, CONCACAF celebrated the first ever Women’s Football Day. The aim of the Women’s Day is to unite all 41 Member Associations so that Women’s Football can be celebrated throughout the region simultaneously.
To commemorate such an occasion, Nevisian and Kittian young female soccer players came together in unison to partake in the planned activities.
The activities that St. Kitts And Nevis organized and had the young females engaged in included, a March Past, Grassroots Festival and Skills Challenege, U-16 Girls 5 A-side competition and the Elvis “Star” Browne Women’s Soccerama.
