With that said, the Saint Kitts and Nevis Labour Party has today,Thursday 14th May, 2015 boycotted the inaugural sitting of parliament. Since Team Unity’s reign of governance has taken effect, the level of political maturity has sank to an all time low.
The recent Labour March solidified Labour’s support thus such a boycott is seemingly a continuance in ensuring that people are aware of the injustices meted out to Kittians and Nevisians.
Further, during an edition of Issues with host Juni Liburd on Freedom FM, the Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas highlighted that even though he was issued his instruments of appointment on Saturday 9th May, 2015 his post of Opposition Leader would in actuality take effect today, (Thursday 14th May 2015). This has been regarded as disrespect by the Saint Kitts and Nevis Labour Party.
