Easter Weekend Climaxes With Further Tragedy In The Federation of St.Kitts & Nevis.

SKN PULSE – Basseterre, St. Kitts, Tuesday 7th April 2015 – Tragedy has struck twice in one day on different occasions and different scenarios. Sadly, at about minutes to seven (7) last night (Monday 6th April), occupants of a motor vehicle were transported to the Joseph N. France hospital  after the vehicle they were occupying collided with a tree; information gathered seems to suggest that the vehicle was travelling from the Basseterre area heading in the West Farm direction.

Perusal of Facebook drew our attention to a picture of the accident where the vehicle was flipped on the other side. Further information gathered suggests that about 8 or more  occupants of the motor vehicle were transported to the hospital where they sought medical attention. However,  we also garnered that one person lost their life.

While there was increase activity in the area it must be noted that the Emergency Medical Services and the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services Department and The Royal Saint Christopher and Nevis Police Traffic Department were present to offer services and assistance where necessary even after good samaritans played the role of caretakers.

To all concerned,  condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.  Moreover,  a speedy recovery is wished to all the occupants of the said vehicle who are saddened and traumatized at present.
