Philo Wallace First Centurion In Leeward Islands Under 19 Tournament.

SKN PULSE,  Sunday 5th April, 2015 – Leeward Islands Under 19 Cricket is live and lively in Saint Kitts.

Matches commenced on the 29th of March with the St. Kitts team facing off against there rivals Nevis.

In that encounter, which was played at the Conaree Playing Field Nevisian batsman Philo Wallace,  managed the first century of the tournament as he scored 105. Other noteworthy performances came from Kezron Archibald who scored 80 and Marcus Dubery who managed 43. Nevis won the toss and elected to bat first on what we would normally call a Conaree Belta, a very placid batting pitch.

The Results were as follows: Nevis won first Innings and the match concluded in a draw.

St. Kitts: 5 Points ( 2 Lost on First Innings /1 Bowling & 2 Batting)

St. Kitts was asked to follow on with a deficit of 176. St. Kitts in reply made 175 for 1 before both captains decided to call off the game.
