Shooting Incidents:

The Violent Crime Unit (VCU) is investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Westbourne Street on Saturday 7 March 2015 about 3:25 am, which resulted in one person hospitalized. 

Initial investigation revealed that Malcom Dyer of Upper Westbourne Street was attacked at in front of his residence by two (2) unknown armed assailants who demanded money from him wounded him in the process. Malcom Dyer was transported to the hospital for medical attention. 

Anyone who has information pertaining to this incident is ask to contact Violent Crime Unit at467-1886, 467-1887, or 467-1888, the nearest police station, or, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS). Remember, you do not have to provide your personal information and you maybe eligible to receive a reward.

SHOOTING INCIDENT AT CENTRAL WESTBOURNE STREET LEAVES ONE PERSON INJURED

The Violent Crime Unit (VCU) is investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Central Westbourne Street on Monday 9 March 2015 about 2:30 pm, which resulted in one person being transported to the hospital. 

Initial investigation revealed that Delroy Williams alias “Kong”  of Irish Town was riding a bicycle when he was attacked by unknown armed assailants who were travelling in a vehicle Delroy Williams was transported to the hospital for medical attention. 

Anyone who has information pertaining to this incident is ask to contact Violent Crime Unit at467-1886, 467-1887, or 467-1888, the nearest police station, or, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS). Remember, you do not have to provide your personal information and you maybe eligible to receive a reward.
