Former Nevisian, Leeward Island And West Indian Cricketer Stuart Williams Will Take Charge of The Saint Lucia Zouks In The Upcoming 2015 Edition of The CPL.


Basseterre (St. Kitts), February 6th -Former Nevisian Cricketing Star and present West Indies coach Stuart Williams will be in charge of St. Lucia Zouks for the upcoming edition of the 2015 Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

The 45-year-old, who is currently engaged with the West Indies Team in Australia, will replace Englishman Matthew Maynard, who has taken up a post as Director of Cricket at English county Somerset. Williams is no stranger to the Zouks structure as he first served as Maynard’s assistant in the 2014 edition of the CPL.

The Nevisian Cricket Star joins another former West Indies batsman Carl Hooper, who has already been appointed as the Guyana Amazon Warriors head coach.

Further, South African Mickey Arthur will head the Jamaica Tallawahs, Australian Simon Helmot will again be incharge of the Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel while India’s Robin Singh has returned to lead reigning champions Barbados Tridents.

The third edition of the Caribbean Premier League will be held from June 21 to July 26 2015.
